To celebrate a year of learning and to honor those who got up extra, extra early for Chess Club, Ms. Stuart will be providing breakfast to all Chess Club members: bagels, egg muffins, munchkins, and juice on the last day of Chess Club, Thursday, May 25th.

On Friday, May 12th & Saturday May 13th, ten McCall 8th grade students attended the National History Day Pennsylvania Contest. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication to perfecting these amazing projects on the theme, “Taking a Stand in History!”

The competition was tough, but we are so very proud to take this journey with the first group of McCall students to attend the NHD state event!

Congratulations to our own Ms. Hantman, for being named as one of the sixty Philadelphia teachers to win the Lindback Award! This is the first time the District has opened the awards to teachers of grades other than high school. What an honor!
