The School District of Philadelphia requires background checks for all parents and community members volunteering in schools.

Volunteers must first obtain and submit to the school:

1. Pennsylvania State Criminal Record Report – obtained online through PATCH
2. Child Abuse Report – obtained online through PA Child Welfare Information Solution
