Our phenomenal McCall Elementary School Technology teacher Ms. Katherine Smith hosted McCall’s first-ever McCall Code-A-Thon on Friday, December 7, 2018. We are so proud of all of the students who participated!

Per Ms. Smith, “During the Code-A-Thon, students are presented with coding challenges which they will have the opportunity to research, plan and create a finished product. The projects are then judged on their adherence to the required components and the creative execution of the idea. Please be assured that not all judges are computer programmers. One of the goals of the competition is to include people of different professions as coding is quickly becoming an integral part of education and occupational preparedness.”
