PHSC HSA Award

McCall HSA was honored Friday night by the Philadelphia Home and School Council with the 2018 Outstanding Home and School Award for “consistently going above and beyond expectations; for their team’s outstanding work as parent leaders and in the area of parent advocacy and care; for their strategic visioning and collaborations while making significant contributions both financially and in parent engagement and unification.”

We are proud of our officers:

Box Tops: Final Collection!

Box rops

It’s time for the final Box Tops collection of the year! Please send in your unexpired Box Tops by Friday, May 18th.

The winning classrooms will receive a visit from the Ice Cream truck.

Currently, Room 211 (Ms. Morris) has the highest total in grades K-3, and Room 217 (Ms. Stuart) is leading grades 4-8.

Spring Concerts

The Spring Concert will be Thursday, May 24th at the following times:
9:00 AM: Grades 6, 7, and 8 audience
10:00 AM: Grades 3, 4,and 5 audience
1:45 PM: Grades K to 2 audience
Strings, Band, and Choir will perform.

All are welcome!

Parents are encouraged to please attend the 9 or 10 AM performances.

We will be open on Wednesday and Thursday until 2PM, and until 1PM on Friday.

Some teachers have put together wish lists to enrich their classroom libraries. Help them out if you can!

Dress-Down-Day

This month’s Dress Down Day will take place on Friday, May 4th.

This month’s theme is “Un-Themed”!

If participating, please send $1 in and the homeroom teacher will collect the money in the morning.

Participating students earn points toward Blue & Gold Day, McCall’s annual field day in the spring.
