Community News: Screenagers Movie Viewing and Panel Discussion

On Thursday, March 23rd, Girls on the Run Philadelphia, in conjunction with Leadership Philadelphia’s Connectors and Keepers Program and the Community College of Philadelphia will host a viewing of the film Screenagers.

The Business of Doing Good

McCall Middle School Kids – support Keziah and Adrian who you met from The Business of Doing Good (BODOG!)
BODOG is an immersive social entrepreneur program for rising 5th  through rising 9th graders. Everyday kids meet entrepreneurs who are making the world a better place and learn basic business skills to create their own projects.

POP UP!  BODOG Kid Entrepreneurs Expo – bid on art to benefit Fairmount Water Works, donate used sports equipment for Playworks and buy inspirational notes for adults and kids.  ALL by kids who want to make the world a better place!   Everyone welcome to check us out!

SNOW DAY – TUESDAY, MARCH 14TH

Due to the forecasted inclement weather, all School District of Philadelphia schools will be closed Tuesday, March 14, 2017. All after-school activities including athletic programs and professional development sessions scheduled for Tuesday are canceled as well. All District early childhood centers will also be closed. In addition, administrative offices will be closed.

Society Hill Civic Association Donation

Thank you to the Society Hill Civic Association which generously contributed $11,000 to McCall to supplement our music program!

This donation will provide Ms. Gooding’s music room with a keyboard lab, additional musical instruments for music class, and upgrades to our auditorium spotlights and sound system.
