Final illustrative boards have been created for McCall. We will have another meeting with Bambi Yost in February.

Drexel Girls Basketball

The launch of FACE monthly District-wide Family workshops will be on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at The District’s Education Center at 440 N. Broad Street. They are offering a morning session that will begin at 10:00 AM and an evening session that will begin at 5:00 PM. Children are welcome to come and a light meal will be served.

In this upcoming workshop, Federal Programs Coordinator, Cari Cantor, will discuss the purpose of Title I, the usage of funds, and the supports it provides for families. They will also be raffling a total of 32 tickets to Disney on Ice “Follow your Heart” Show and other prizes during our workshop.

All 6th through 8th grade boys and girls interested in playing basketball should have attended an informational meeting today (Monday). All may participate without a physical until December 23rd. ALL physicals must be turned in by then or you will not be able to play on the team.

TRYOUTS:
GIRLS: Tuesday December 6th 3:15 to 4:15 PM in the gym.
BOYS: Wednesday December 7th 3:15 to 4:15 PM in the gym.
**Teams will be announced on Thursday, December 8th**

DECEMBER: Girls will practice Tues/Thurs until 5 PM, Boys will practice Mon/Wed
JANUARY: Games Mon/Wed, Practice Tues/Thurs (alternating boys & girls)
FEBRUARY: After school games/practice 2-3x per week

**If you cannot make the commitment please do not try out.**

Heart and Sole finished its Girls on the Run 5K Saturday! Grades 6 through 8 participated, coached by Ms. Asto, Ms. Centanni, and Coach Tara. The new season will be starting in March! Parent volunteers appreciated!
