We raised $23,000 on our other fundraising ventures. We spent approximately $100,000 this year on things including Playworks, the safety surface, textbooks, Smart Boards, the upgraded sound system, software, and the new drinking fountains. We currently have a balance of approximately $69,000, of which approximately $12,000 is restricted.

Our 4th Annual Casino Night & Silent Auction will take place on Saturday, June 4th, which is very soon! Laurel reminded everybody to please buy their tickets soon, if they hadn’t, as we have to give our final numbers to the Marriott by June 1st and we want to ensure we have enough food! She thanked everybody for soliciting auction items; it’s going really well. She will send out a call for volunteers to help with things during the event.

We discussed the day/night out at Primp & Play; they are going to donate 30% of their proceeds on June 2nd, so make an appointment and do your Casino Night beauty prep there!

We discussed the Recess Raffle; tickets are $1 each and the winning class gets an extra recess period with Ms. Rock and a treat!
