Mark your calendars for McCall’s 5th Annual Casino Night & Silent Auction!

The 2017 launch will begin shortly! We will need help recruiting event sponsors, collecting fabulous silent auction items, and of course selling tickets!

Please mark your calendars and secure your sitters for Saturday, May 20th, again at the Marriott!

Please join Bambi Yost, back from Iowa State University, to go over the Final Plans that students created! She will be here on:

• Monday, February 13th at 3:15 PM (in the auditorium to meet with staff)
• Thursday, February 16th at 11:30 AM (right before Early Dismissal) (in the auditorium to meet with parents)

Get in the mood for our spring musical and join us for our rescheduled showing of “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” on Thursday, March 2nd! The flyer will be distributed shortly.

We will be showing the movie in the Gym (Bring Your Own Blanket!) The Book Fair will also be running in the Auditorium for adult purchasing!

Once again, Room 210 will conduct a community service that supports Philabundance in feeding those in need. We are hoping to get one can of food from every member of McCall School.

Please send in a can of food with your child.

The drive runs through March 15th.

Young Rembrandts will be starting a new session with us, after school again on Tuesdays for students in grades K through 5.

It will run February 21st through March 28th, from 3:15 to 4:15 PM.

The cost is $99 for 6 weeks, but $90 if you register by February 18th.

A Note from Principal McKenna:

Congratulations! The School District has released the 2015-2016 School Progress Reports and I am pleased to announce that McCall did exceptionally well!

McCall is again named a “Model School” and we are ranked #1 out of 138 city-wide for Kindergarten through Grade 8 Schools and 1 out of 18 in our peer group!!

I am so proud of the entire school community for everybody’s hard work in achieving this great recognition.

This month’s Dress Down Day will take place on Friday, February 3rd and the theme is “Wear Red/Pink”

If your child participates and dresses out of uniform, please send $1 in and the homeroom teacher will collect the money in the morning.

Participating students earn points toward Blue & Gold Day, McCall‘s annual field day in the spring.
